GANG MEMBER SENTENCED ON FEDERAL GUN CHARGES

Gulfport, Miss - Brett Vincent Charbonneau, 24, of D’Iberville, was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Walter J. Gex III to serve 39 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis announced. Charbonneau was also ordered to forfeit one Ruger, .380 caliber pistol.
Charbonneau, known as “Sir Loki”, is a member of the Simon City Royals criminal street gang. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Annette Williams.
